As we get closer to a full on beta launch and move out of the testing phase - I’m looking for feature suggestions. Leave a suggestion in the comments if you’d like to see some specific features and tools implemented.
John Hopple over at http://www.marathonpaceband.com mentioned that he was moving his player around on the page.
Here is the trick: In the embed code toward the bottom is -320, -240.
By increasing the first negative number you can move it left. By increasing the second number you can move it up. This is all relative to the lower right hand corner.
Give it a try!
Here is an example of a transparent flash clip on my site which uses a CMS.
You can use the embed code on just about any site. You place the embed code between the BODY tags.
Post a link in the comments to your page where you have embedded the POYP code. Time to show off a little.
Here is a complete run through of the POYP process.

Things are progressing very well now after a bumpy start. We determined that the “Feature” was actually a “Bug” and now you do not need the 1 second work around.
There will be a tutorial up later today which will walk you through the entire brief process of putting people on your page!
The feedback has been tremendous with people who “get it” telling me how they plan to use this service.
The current plan is to offer levels of service on a monthly basis to business users. You can use the service for your business and/or provide the service to other businesses.
Plans will be based upon number of clips and playlists, There will also be an “Agency Level” that will allow you to white label the service,
We are also implementing an affiliate program for those interested in promoting the service with a generous payout.
Finally, as we get the B2B plans and levels set up and running smoothly, we will offer a Personal Level and offer, in addition to user clips, generic clips for purchase.
Please leave a comment and give us your thoughts on all this.
While the geniuses at the dev office are fixing some issues (placement, transparency, click through, UI) I added a support ticket system. Once logged in you can click on Support and enter your support issue.
This automated system will help us track and manage tech issues as well as develop a FAQ and Knowledge base.
The beta invite went well but there were a number of issues that cropped up immediately. All these are minor thankfully but it’s embarrassing to announce a new produc t and have some of it go immediately south.
Lesson there is: Test, Test, Test, and Test again!
My friend Dave Hamilton had a good take on it and said “If it were easy, everyone would be doing it!”
I like Dave’s take on it and hoping everyone is as generous!
Acting as producer with a staff is great, however I can’t just jump in and fix things like I can with straight html. I have no idea about asp so I leave it to the pros. Antony is amazing at getting things organized and taken care of quickly. His team is really stepping up - big time.
All the little bugs mentioned in my email will be fixed by late tonight. Then we can continue to test in earnest.
